Led Zeppelin began their eighth tour of North American on June 6th in Detroit. The Dallas-based sound production company, Showco, would provide state-of-the-art equipment for this tour and all subsequent shows for the band.

Two concerts, in Los Angeles and Long Beach would be professionally recorded and released officially on the 2003 cd How the West Was Won.
